Die Romantik (it's German, not melodramatic) recently finished a residency at Piano's on the lower east side. Fans of French singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg, but influenced by the movement broadly, this band played 3 nights of tight operatic French indy rock with the force of forty hurricanes.If you haven't heard these guys, you need to tighten your shit up and listen to Narcissist's Waltz.
