I have no idea who this man is ...

Oh wait - yes I do ... because it's written on the side of his glamour shot emblazoned bus.
Meet Jeff, he's running against John Kerry.
From his website:
" I am proud to be part of the middle class and I understand the difficulty and hardships we face to pay a mortgage, heat our homes and put food on the table."

Jeff, please tighten up, for America.

Glamour shot aside, it doesn't seem like such a bad tactic. "Running to replace John Kerry with one of us." Seems like a pretty good slogan when campaigning against a man many consider an uptight, aristocratic asshat.

Or am I just not getting it?

Probably.

I don't have a bus with my face on it ... I guess my thinking is if you have that slogan you should be driving a wood paneled station wagon.

I drive a woodie with my face on it. But I'm upper class. Go figure.

i think by "replace John Kerry with one of us" he means replace Kerry with an actual human being. i support that.

Oh yea! See I was't getting it. He needs a much more middle class bus. Not one of those fancy schamncy rock group tourwagons.

my interpretation: someone lying in the truck bed is punching the patriotic smirk off his face.

bodenner: That is really, really funny. There is *definitely* a giant arm coming out of that truck bed punching Beatty in the face.
